Terms of Service

By accessing or using the American Book Co. Educational website and quoting portal (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a school, district, or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to do so on its behalf.

The Service is intended for use by schools, school districts, and education professionals. You agree to provide accurate and current information when you create an account and to keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Schools and districts may pay by purchase order in accordance with the terms stated on the quote. Net terms, accepted payment methods, and required documentation will be specified when the quote is sent.

Estimated shipping times are provided for reference and are not guaranteed delivery dates. Damaged, defective, or misshipped items should be reported within fifteen (15) days of receipt so we can arrange a replacement or return. Custom or special-order titles may be non-returnable; this will be noted on the quote where applicable.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• violate any applicable law or regulation;
• infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our underlying systems;
• transmit malware, automated abuse, or any content that is harmful, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.

All site design, text, graphics, and software are owned by American Book Co. Educational or its licensors and are protected by U.S. and international copyright laws. Book covers and product descriptions are the property of their respective publishers. You may not copy, republish, or distribute site content without permission.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy of catalog information, availability of titles, or uninterrupted operation of the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in a signed agreement between us and your organization.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, American Book Co. Educational will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or an order placed through it will not exceed the amount paid by your organization for the order at issue.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on the site or communicated by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York.
